I may have mentioned once or twice that my daughter got married recently in Vegas.
While we had a wonderful time and a beautiful wedding dinner with everyone that could come to Vegas, there were a good number of friends who couldn’t make the trip.
Their wonderful boss, Dominic Cangelosi – owner of Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, offered to throw them a reception at the rink the following Sunday evening.
They sent out face book invites (kids these days) and told everyone it would be a “potluck”. Not getting much response from people I was afraid there wouldn’t be enough food for the 60 people that RSVP’d. I reached out to my amazing friend Debbie Goldberg at Fresh Brother’s Pizza and she generously provided us with more pizzas than we could eat and enough garlic knots that didn’t feel guilty at all when I ate 3 in my car on the ride to the rink.
Fresh Brother’s are located in Southern California, the first brother, Scott, originally opened Miller’s Pizza in Gary Indiana, and brothers Adam and Michael brought his recipes out west. They have seven locations currently and an eighth in Santa Monica will be opening this fall. Personally I am searching the Glendale and Montrose area hoping to get a location closer to me so I can get my fix of the amazing Miller.
And did I mention the garlic knots.
Now I’m hungry.

OMG, that looks so good. It is only 8am but now I want pizza
It originated at Miller’s Pizza in Gary. GO!

I am so drooling over here! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE pizzas AND garlic knots. I really have to make my way over there soon.
Ahh simple carbs. My second spouse.
What a sweet story all around! How generous of Debbie and Fresh Bros — I’ve gotta try one of their locations! And yes, Glendale would be more convenient for me, too.
Fresh Brothers is such a generous company and their pizza is great. I wish we had one closer to home in South OC. Hint. Hint.
