The day before Thanksgiving is supposedly the Biggest Bar night of the year.
Really?
I have never heard of that before, and yet, we heard it on the news a hundred times over and over all day long.
I have heard that it is the biggest revenue day for restaurants since everyone is cooking the next day on Thanksgiving and they don’t want to cook the day before. Or if they are lucky enough their ovens are filled with pies and goodies and there is no room for any dinner on Wednesday.
I just don’t understand the reasoning of the biggest bar night that night, I would think that honor would go to New Year’s Eve or something more apropos like that.
Of course I am not a drinker (not even socially, another concept that is hard for me to understand), so really maybe I should stop wondering about insignificant things like this and concentrate on updating this here blog more often and with more interesting information.
