Election Choices

Election days always provide me with Blogging fodder. Whether it be the issues that are being voted upon or the individuals doing the voting or the people working the polls.

For this election I have been blessed. All 3 of my workers showed up and all 3 are capable and reliable it kinda makes me think it is too good to be true.

And it is.

Last election I had a problem and my Coordinator immediately handled it. This time not so much.

As a matter of fact during my lunch she called me and asked me to cut my lunch short and meet her back at the poll by 11:30. As I type this it is 4:10 and she has just now called me. During this phone call, she did not once apologize for not showing up, nor did she even recall that she was to show up. Also, she didn’t recall that I had an equipment problem to begin with!
I have concluded that I will either be blessed with good pollworkers OR a good coordinator. If the choice is mine, I will go with pollworkers every time.
