I was driving on the freeway here in Los Angeles and had some time to think (while on an LA freeway you get a lot of time to think). I was hungry and in need of a snack. I tried to think of what I had at home waiting for me, nothing sounded good.
What I really wanted was some Better Made potato chips.
Or even better some BBQ Fritos. Why is it that here in California we can get, tangy BBQ, Honey BBQ, FIRE hot BBQ, but not just plain old simple BBQ Fritos?
I came home and made my leftover spaghetti for dinner, my only bread option was heating up some frozen garlic bread. Not a Lender’s Onion Bagel anywhere in sight in this great state of California.
Whenever I make a PB&J for lunch my taste buds salivate thinking they will be enjoying Velvet Peanut Butter, and are disappointed when they encounter the Skippy I am forced to buy.
With the head cold I suffered through last week, I wanted something cold to drink and knew that Vernor’s Ginger Ale would refresh me and not upset my already weakened body. But could I find any at my local grocer? No.
Most of these items I can buy online and have shipped, but the shipping costs are outrageous. 3 bags of potato chips shipping is over $10! Chips weigh nothing why so expensive?
