Grand Knife

by Adrienne Van Houten on June 16, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.

I remember my grandpa Beauregard always building or working on something, anything. There was always a “project” happening at his house or a neighbors. When he was Ninety he fell from a ladder trying to fix something or other.  There was no excuse for sitting still.

He always had a pocket knife on his person.  At the ready just in case.  I don’t recall if it was a Swiss Army Knife or not but I can guarantee you it was sharp as hell.  No knife was ever allowed to be dull in his presence.

Swiss Army has a new knife called the Dual Pro X which has a bunch of “one-handed” capabilities.  For someone with arthritis in her hand, one-hand capabilities are good, because sometimes both hands aren’t working right at the same time, heh.

From their website:

  • One-Hand Locking Blade
  • One-Hand Serrated Locking Seat Belt Cutter
  • Phillips Screwdriver
  • Can Opener with
  • -Small Screwdriver
  • Bottle Opener with
  • -Large Locking Screwdriver
  • -Wire Stripper
  • Reamer
  • Key Ring

Check out the Dual Pro X on the Swiss Army website and also check out the Share the Adventure Facebook Page for your chance to win great products and compete for a $25,000 Ultimate Adventure.

Perhaps I will get one for my son in the hopes that his Great Grandfather’s gumption will come through it.

Your grandfather ws not a supporter of things new and would not likely buy or use such a knife. However, it soulds like the perfect gift for Father’s Day.
